Regenerative aftercare: stem cells & exosomes with your hair transplant

A successful transplant is a surgical masterpiece. But the lasting result depends on what comes after.

At NIVA CARE we work with a specialised doctor guided by one clear philosophy: to nourish, care for and protect both the transplanted and the existing hair as much as possible. Alongside the PRP session included by default, the doctor often recommends an additional regenerative treatment — stem cell or exosome therapy — tailored to your situation.

Implanting the grafts is only step one

From a surgical point of view, placing the grafts is just the beginning. Just as decisive is the bed the grafts land in: the scalp must become fertile ground — well perfused, nourished and in optimal condition — so the transplanted hairs take as well as possible. That is why we deliberately choose a holistic approach that also protects the existing, often already weakened hair. This limits the temporary shock loss and speeds up recovery.

What is a regenerative hair treatment?

Regenerative hair treatments work at the cellular level. They repair the follicles and optimise the scalp's micro-environment so the natural growth cycle restarts. One example is the HSC50+ Hair & Scalp Complex: a powerful cocktail of growth factors, exosomes, peptides, vitamins and hyaluronic acid that revitalises the follicles, reactivates dormant follicles and strengthens the existing hair.

What's in the HSC50+ complex?

  • 200 mg of growth factors
  • 20 billion exosomes
  • Hyaluronic acid — high and low molecular weight
  • 7 peptides
  • 8 vitamins
  • Phyto-peptide fractions

The clinical difference: stem cells vs. exosomes

Two top treatments with different mechanisms of action. The doctor makes a targeted choice based on your situation.

01

Stem cell therapy — SVF (autologous stem cells)

With SVF stem cell therapy (Stromal Vascular Fraction) we use cells from your own body. Through a minimally invasive mini-liposuction — usually around the abdomen — a small amount of fat tissue is taken, from which we isolate the stromal vascular fraction: rich in stem cells and growth factors. This solution is injected into the scalp and helps structurally repair damaged tissue and dormant follicles — a truly autologous 'reset'.

When? The day before your DHI transplant, under local anaesthesia. This requires one extra night (three nights instead of two).

  • Stimulates stronger, thicker and healthier growth
  • Protects existing follicles against further loss
  • Improves the quality and perfusion of the scalp
  • Reinforces the success and durability of the transplant
02

Exosome therapy — cellular messengers

Exosomes are not cells, but tiny vesicles that act as messengers, packed with growth factors, peptides and RNA — up to some 20 billion exosomes per treatment. Rather than creating new cells, they give a direct, hyper-concentrated signal to your existing cells: they activate growth, curb inflammation and stimulate the formation of new blood vessels (neovascularisation).

When? During your DHI transplant itself — so no extra night.

  • Activates growth and reactivates dormant follicles
  • Curbs inflammation of the scalp
  • Stimulates perfusion (neovascularisation)
  • Increases density and strengthens existing hair

Top quality and an honest price

In Belgium, stem cell therapy quickly costs between €1,500 and €2,000, and an exosome treatment around €400 to €500. At NIVA CARE a PRP session is included by default in the package; stem cell and exosome therapy are optional, at an additional cost — each at a considerably more favourable rate than in Belgium.

The doctor's personal advice

There is no 'one size fits all'. During the screening we assess your scalp condition, the degree of hair loss and your hair quality. On that basis we choose either stem cell or exosome therapy — each time in perfect synergy with your transplant.
